今回は言葉の上のこと。なのにそこへメディアが集まった。まるで事件現場に群がるように。つまりいまの日本というのは、作家の言い合いに過剰に反応するほどにまで、ものが言いづらい世の中なのではなかろうか。だから好きなことを言う人間を珍しがっているのではないのか。そのあたりを、人の言い合いを流すだけのメディアは、いったいどう考えるのか。私はネットをほとんど知らないが、ブログやツイッターで言いたいことを言っているように見える日本人は、実は言いたいことを出し切れていないのかもしれない。この点を分析する能力は自分にはない。ひょっとすると、言いたいことを自由に言っている石原氏や私は、古いタイプの書き手なのだろうか。
