まず、十七日の会見の段階で私は、石原氏が六日に行った、今度の芥川賞候補作はバカみたい、という発言を全く知らなかった。正確な内容を知ったのは十八日になってからだ。次に、会見内での、もらって当然、都知事と都民のためにもらっといてやる、という言い方は、はっきり言うと最終候補になるずっと前から、もしその時が来たら言ってやろうと準備していたものだった。だから、六日の都知事の発言に田中がかみついた、というのはメディアが勝手に作った図式だ。
